orchestraconductor.jpgThe Rufus King Music Department is wrapping up its successful 2006-2007 school year with their Spring Concert on April 19 at 7:00PM in the RKHS auditorium, which will showcase the talents of the Orchestra, Band, Jazz Ensemble, Drum Line and various soloists. Come support the many students who worked hard all year bringing entertainment to the school and community.

On Saturday March 31, both the band and orchestra earned straight superior ratings at the WSMA Concert Group Festival held at Harold Vincent HS.
On May 5, many of the instrumental music students will compete in the WSMA State Music Festival at Cardinal-Stritch University. These honored students earned their place at the State Festival by receiving a *1st ranking on their solo at the regional level. Along with the students listed below, the String Choir and the Jazz Ensemble also earned the right to attend the Festival and uphold their remarkable reputation as devoted and accomplished musicians.
