Information: Mr. Derge has taught at Rufus King since 1989. He received his M.A. in United States history from UW-Milwaukee and his B.A. in politics and government from Ripon College. He has completed all of the requirements for the Ph.D. in history from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst except the dissertation. From 1991 until 1998 Mr. Derge served as Rufus King debate coach. Mr. Derge currently teaches U.S. history but has also taught American government, world history and I.B. global history.
