Ms. Hardy teaches all levels of Spanish. During 2008-2009, she has sections of Spanish II and III. She is also the head forensics and debate coach, and heads the basketball team study group.
Since coming to King, Ms. Hardy has continued her studies of Spanish and Hispanic culture through coursework at Yale in 2007 and a National Endowment of the Humanities grant in Spain in the summer of 2008.
Ms. Hardy served in the Peace Corps in the former Soviet republic of Moldova, where she was an English teacher and a teacher trainer. She spent two years teaching English at the American School of Tampico in Mexico. She studied at the University of Costa Rica and has traveled extensively throughout Latin America.
Ms. Hardy has a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from Bradley University in Illinois. She earned her teaching certification at UW-Milwaukee. She earned her M.A. from the University of Southern Mississippi but did all her course work in Morelia, Mexico. |
