Following our incorporation with bylaws with the State of Wisconsin a year ago, the alumni association has officially elected a board of directors and officers.

The Rufus King High School Alumni Association celebrated its second anniversary at its Annual Meeting, held at Pandl's Restaurant in Bayside on Saturday, May 21, 2005.  The officers elected at the meeting are Carol Schaefer Broman '57, president; Jerry Roesch '61, vice-president; Joy Markert Adams '64, secretary; and Preston Young '73, treasurer.

In addition the following people were elected to the board of directors: Victor Brazil '66, Jerry Clausing '54, Richard Cwiklinski '64, Dean Filandrinos '59, Gene Gilbert '44, Dale Gutzman '62, Adam Jacobi '95, Eric Jacobi '00, Jim Jacobi '64, Lois Kuehn '47, Mark Lawerenz '67, Trudy Matkey Mollan '66, Barbara Piel Pozorski '57, David Reinelt '99, and Bärbel Ruppert Stell '82.

The Association was founded in 2003 and incorporated in 2004.  Its mission is the facilitation of communication among alumni and the strengthening of their connection to Rufus King High School, promoting school spirit and supporting the excellence of its programs. Each year the Association honors distinguished alumni.
