The Mission of the Rufus King Alumni Association is to facilitate communication among alumni and to strengthen their connection to Rufus King High School, promoting school spirit and supporting the excellence of its programs.
You can support the association through your membership, involvement and financial support. For more information on how to join, click "contact" in the menu above.
The association has considered the following activities and initiatives as its focus:
- Sponsorship of an annual picnic welcoming alumni from all classes, since July 2003.
- Creation an alumni directory in 2004 and maintenance of an online database.
- Circulation of a newsletter with information about alumni activities and school events, since February 2003.
- Assistance with class reunions, as needed.
- Establishment of an endowment for the provision of scholarships to outstanding graduates and for special projects for the school.
- Sponsorship of a mentor/networking program for current students and recent graduates.
- Sponsorship of an annual recognition dinner for alumni with extraordinary achievient and for presentation of scholarships to graduation seniors.
- Producing merchandise to allow alumni to proudly display their pride in their school!

Following our incorporation with bylaws with the State of Wisconsin in 2005, the alumni association officially elected a board of directors and officers. Current board members include:

Becoming a member of the Alumni Association is easy, and we have several membership levels to meet your budgetary needs. The Rufus King Alumni Association is a 501(c)3 charitable not-for-profit organization, so your membership and any contributions are tax-deductible.
