Thank you to all of the teachers and staff who help to make Rufus King a success. Teachers and staff: don’t forget that we will be serving lunch in the large conference room during all lunch hours. We look forward to seeing you there. ~Student Government

 

 

All students interested in attending next Thursday's student/staff game must buy a ticket for $2.   Tickets will go on sale Monday-Thursday of next week during the lunch hours.

 

 

Are you amazing? Are you just ridiculously awesome? I bet you probably have a lot of friends who are also amazing and ridiculously awesome! Bet you need a place where you and your friends can go and flaunt your amazing and ridiculous awesomeness. Well, look no further, because this Saturday, May 8th, the Rufus King Comedy Spartanz are going to be flaunting their amazing and ridiculous awesomeness at the Comedy Sportz High School League Semi-Finals! Your Rufus King Comedy Spartanz need your help to bring home the High School league Championship, so head on down to Comedy Sportz, (420 S. 1st St.) this Saturday at 12:00pm to laugh and bask in your amazing and ridiculous awesomeness for only $3! And if you're not that awesome, I guess you can come too.

 

 

The varsity baseball team remains undefeated in conference after beating Madison in both games of our double-header last night.  We won the first game 11 - 2 and the second game 15 - 9.  Pitching for the Generals were CJ Reynolds, Aaron James, Liam Kellogg and Tyler Haase.  Leading hitters in the games were Liam Kellogg 4 for 8 with a double, Sam Kacala 4 for 8 with a double, and Boyd Jardaneh 5 for 7 with 3 triples.  Next week Monday we play Tech at Burnham Park at 5:00.  Come check out the team.
