Greetings, [NAME]: here's what's happening at Rufus King!

 

Attention Student Government: Don't forget that today is our final meeting. We will meet in Ms. Magar's room directly after school!

 

 

Attention Seniors: During lunch hours on Tuesday, May 18, and Wednesday, May 19, your Yearbooks, 10 graduation tickets, and senior class picture will be distributed outside the cafeteria. Please note that all Senior Graduation fees must be paid to Mr. Doubek and any outstanding Student fees must be paid to the bookkeeper, Ms. Sem, prior to receiving these items. Thank you, Mr. Doubek.

 

 

Attention all boys soccer players! There is a mandatory meeting for all Boys soccer players for the upcoming 2010 season. The meeting will be held Tuesday, May 17, after school in the cafeteria.

 

 

The Majorette’s will have a brief meeting after school on Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Please plan on attending this meeting. Thank you.  Mrs. Gary

 

Attention all Spanish Honor Society Members!! There will be a quick meeting after school on Thursday! This meeting is very important and all sophomores and juniors new and old members must attend this meeting. Again ALL Spanish Honor Society members MUST attend this meeting after school THURSDAY. Thanks, Your SHS Officers

 

The girls' varsity softball team defeated Riverside 18-5.  Jasmine Myers, Lydia Klabunde, and MacKenzie Griffin combined to throw a 1-hitter.  Jasmine also had 2 hits and drove in 4 runs.  Antoinette Stenson also collected 2 hits and scored 3 runs.  Sara Miller had 3 runs and 3 RBIs.  The Lady Generals are now 11-5 and play Tech today at Sijan. 

 

 

There will be a short informational meeting tonight immediately after school, for all girls interested in playing on next fall's Girl's Golf Team.  Please come to room 209 tonight after school to learn more.  You do not have to be an experienced golfer.

 

 

 

Yesterday the Boys' JV Tennis Team defeated St. Francis 9 to 5.  Winning singles' matches for King were Jerry, Simon, Langston, and Sam.  Winning doubles matches for King were Greg and Anders, Larry and Wii, Jon and Carson, Peter and Lao, and Simon and Pang.

 

 

 

 

Attention all Dance Team members-  There will be an end of the year meeting this Thursday, immediately after school in Ms. Dempsey's room.  The meeting will only take about 15 minutes. See you then!
