The varsity baseball team won two games last night beating Bay View 15-4 and 29-3. We are now 14 and 2 in conference and in first place in the conference. Pitching for the Generals were Liam Kellogg, Andrew Dunn-Bauman, and Aaron James. Leading hitters in the games were Liam Kellogg (5 for 9 with a triple), Sam Kacala (6 for 9 with 2 doubles), Boyd Jardaneh (4 for 7 with a triple), Milton Childs (8 for 8 with 3 doubles and a grand slam and 10 RBI) and Andrew Dunn-Bauman (4 for 7 with a double and a triple). Our next game is next Monday when we have a double header versus Hamilton in McCarty Park.
The girls' varsity softball team defeated MSL 17-2. Jasmine Myers was the winning pitcher while also collecting 3 hits, driving in 4 runs, and hitting a home run. Molly Jo Bautch had 3 hits and 3 runs. Lydia Klabunde and Aivy Nguyen added 2 hits each. Gabe Charles scored 3 runs. The Lady Generals' record is now 13-5 and play a doubleheader on Saturday at Garden Homes starting at 11 am.
