Students from Rufus King International Baccalaureate High School recently earned a third place ranking in the state (tied with Brookfield East) for the school in the Wisconsin Math League (WML). Senior Alexander Hoyer placed first in the state, achieving a perfect score, and senior Nathaniel Sullivan had the third highest score.
The WML is a series of six math contests that students participate in throughout the year. The top five high scoring schools were: Whitefish Bay H.S. -168; Marquette University H.S. - 160; Brookfield East H.S. - 155; Rufus King H.S. - 155; and Madison West H.S. - 153.
