 With a dedicated corps of drummers, our venerable 27-year band/orchestra director Mr. Jeffrey Durr -- known for his Jazz penchant -- marched into a new foray: a drumline competition. Earning high marks in all three major categories of performance quality, repertoire and musical effectiveness, King unseated two-year reigning champs Vincent High School.
