Cross Country: Second Trip to State in Two Years

Our Boys Cross Country Team won the WIAA State Sectional Saturday (10/25). They narrowly beat #4 state ranked Marquette (who finished second) and #14 Brookfield Central (3rd) to make their second consecutive trip to the WIAA State Finals next Saturday, November 1st in Wisconsin Rapids. David Stilin was the individual champion and joined Nathaniel Sullivan on the 1st team All-Sectional Team. Josh Gilly and Eric Anderson were both 2nd Team All-Sectional and Sebastian Van Oudenallen, Paul Bolanowski and Joe Morgan all had Stellar efforts to help lead the team to victory! The Girls team finished 8th at the loaded sectional and Hope Marshall earned an individual trip to state becoming the first girl in school history to represent Rufus King at the WIAA State Finals. Congrats to all team members for a monumental day for Rufus King.
