The athletic support program gives coaches a chance to stay on top of the athletes’ progress in the classroom. It also gives the athletes a chance to talk to coaches about problems they have in school and out of school. The athletes also have a chance to talk to younger kids about education and its importance.
The athletic support program gives:
coaches a chance to monitor the athletic education for a full year.
athletes a chance to have someone to discuss their problems.
athletes a chance to discuss the importance of education to younger kids.
athletes a chance to know how important their own education is to them.
athletes a person to push them toward a successful education.
The program consists of:
A list of every athlete by class: freshman, sophomore, junior and senior.
A weekly check on each athlete’s grades.
A weekly check on attendance.
A list that goes to the coaches of the athletes whose grades are going down.
