We are known as the brightest and the best, so why not keep our school looking the brightest and the best? You wouldn’t want guests to see a trashy school would you? As students of Rufus King High School we will influence other students, adults, even teachers to pick up after themselves not only making the school look clean, but making others feel good about themselves that they helped someone out. So we encourage YOU to help us reach our goal to clean up our school, after all, we don’t represent TRASH!

Trash, trash everywhere,
people look, people stare,
they look at this trash everywhere
would we litter? We won’t dare.
People act like they don’t care,
throwing their trash anywhere.
Cans and bottles here and there,
plenty of paper everywhere.
So take a stand, be real, man
we know you can do it, we know you can.
Pick up this trash, junk, and ban
all this trash from coming here again.
Are you lazy, weak, or just plain dumb?
You like this school looking like a bum?
This isn’t your locker and this isn’t your room,
so pick it up, because trash isn’t cool.
